The vision to establish MEDITECH as a truly global brand—one that transcends borders to transform healthcare delivery—has long been at the heart of our mission. It was a goal championed by our Board of Directors and MEDITECH International founder, John Tresling, and today, that vision is a tangible, thriving reality.
As we look back on our progress, we are reminded that longevity is the foundation of trust. In 2025, MEDITECH Australia celebrated its 21st anniversary, and here at MEDITECH South Africa, we are incredibly proud to recognise our 44th year of operation. These milestones aren’t just numbers; they represent decades of unwavering commitment to our clinicians and their patients.
Building on this foundation, 2025 was a landmark year for strategic expansion. In collaboration with MEDITECH International, we were thrilled to welcome Fiji as our 29th country, following our partnership with Aspen Medical.
Our momentum in the UK and Irish markets also continues to accelerate. We’ve seen successful Expanse go-lives at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, East Cheshire NHS Trust, and HCA Healthcare UK. Meanwhile, in Ireland, we’ve strengthened our presence with go-lives at Bon Secours Health System and the ongoing implementation at UPMC Ireland.
Closer to home, our growth in the African market has been particularly notable. We are proud to support the digital transformation of healthcare leaders like Aga Khan Health Service in Tanzania and Sir Ketumile Masire Teaching Hospital in Botswana. These partnerships prove that high-level innovation knows no geographic bounds.
Growth without security is unsustainable. To ensure our customers’ success, MEDITECH International recently deployed our International Google Cloud Platform. This achievement was bolstered by our ISO27001 certification, providing our partners in Australia, the UK, and beyond with the highest standards of data protection and operational excellence.
Operating across such diverse global markets certainly presents challenges. Yet, we consistently overcome these hurdles through the incredible spirit of collaboration that defines the MEDITECH community.
As we look toward a promising future, I am reminded of the words of our late founder, A. Neil Pappalardo, which continue to serve as our North Star:
